N2  - Prospective teachers' professional knowledge and their attitudes toward their profession affect their success of teaching. This study aims to identify prospective science teachers' attitudes toward their profession. To reach this aim, 300 prospective teachers attending to Science Department in Buca Faculty of Education were administrated a scale consisting 40 items. The fındings indicate that there are significant differences between level of class and preference of teaching profession, gender, existence of a teacher in the family and their attitudes toward teaching profession.
