N2  - This research aimed to study the relations between the school and its environment depending on how the teachers and administrators feel these relations. The perception and expectation scale (ÇBG-ABÖ) related to environmental pressure groups have been developed by the researcher himself. The scale includes 26 question articles related to the general functioning of the school. To provide validity of ÇBG-ABÖ, we asked an expert for advice. We calculated (a) values and article test correlations (r) to provide reliance. We have found that Alfa a is equal to 92. The scope of the research includes 2640 administrators and teachers who worked in primary, secondary and high schools in 1996 -1997 academic year in Kocaeli province and the example group of the research includes 97 administrator and 310 teachers, totally 410 subjects, who worked in these schools. During the evaluation of the data, we used frequency (f), mean ( × ), Standard deviation (sd), t-test (at meaningfulness level of p < .05) and single-way variance analysis (at the level of p < .05). As a result of the research we found that there is not a remarkable difference between the teachers and administrators in terms of the influence of environmental groups on the general functioning of the school. We did not found meaningful differences related the perception of influence of environmental pressure groups by the administrators according to their sex, experience, type of the faculty they attended, branch and type of the school they work, either.
