N2  - The aim of this research is to determine the physical input requirement andproduction cost for the production of potatoes on the farms in Erzurum province. The dataused in this research were collected from 160 farms through a survey that were determined bysimple random sampling method from 16 villages in the year of 2003. It was found that forthe average farm per decar, 78,40 hours labour and 4,40 hours tractor power were needed and1 kg of potatoes production cost is 175 402 TL
