However, it is more often used in large organizations compared to medium and small sized enterprises. This paper reports the derivation of a strategy map for a third party administrator in the healthcare industry to encourage it to adopt the balanced score card and the strategy map in crafting its strategic direction . The proposed strategy map is derived based on data obtained from interviews with the chief executive officer of Medijaring Sendirian Berhad (MJSB), secondary data about MJSB and suggestions of a focus group.
