In the same period, British and French weapon traders were also selling weapons to the land forces and navy forces of Turkish army. However, when the German company of Krupp became a leader in selling especially artillery weapons to Turkey after the 1880’s, a competition began among British, French and German weapon companies. When reached to the ends of the century, the company of Krupp monopolized the selling of artillery and artillery ammunations to Turkey. Other German weapon companies also continued to sell rifles and ammunitions, and other military equipments to Turkey.
