The sensing responses of thefilms against to chloroform, benzene and toluene vapors were measured by QuartzCrystal Microbalance (QCM) method. The changes in resonance frequency associatedwith mass changes can be attributed to the swelling behaviour of FY1 thin films duringorganic vapor molecules absorption. The response of FY1 LB films to the choosedVOCs has been investigated in conditions of physical properties of the solvents, and thefilms were obtain to be largely sensitive to chloroform vapor compared to other studiedvapors.
