N2  - This study was conducted for the aim to put forward six chestnut genotypes selected for higher properties in chestnut plantations in Aydin province Nazilli district among 2001 and 2004.As a result of this selection study, the data of morphological, phonological and biochemical properties obtained from three-year average were given for six chestnut genotypes selected through obtaining the highest point using weighted ranking method. These results will be targeted to establish a foundation for future adaptation and cultivar registration studies.
