In our country, the use of technology foreducation is considered to be the means of catching up with developed countriesby improving quality and a great deal of investment is made on this field.The purpose ofthis research is to determine the perspectives of candidate teachers towardshow educational technology affects classroom management, what its advantagesand disadvantages are, what sort of classroom management challenges they mayencounter, and so on.. The research was conducted on 336 students from theDepartment of Primary Education at Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education. Thepersonal information form and the questionnaire form prepared by the researcherwere used in this study as data collection tools. According to the research,candidate teachers support the use of technology in education; they think thatthe use of technology affects classroom management, the use of technology is afactor that incurs concerns and the use of technology must be very well knownto achieve good classroom management. Additionally, they state that the use oftechnology for education influences the communication and the atmosphere in theclass, it partially obstructs classroom control, undesired behaviors may varybetween classrooms where technology is used or not used, and the number ofstudents referred to the disciplinary committee will increase.
