N2  - Bu çalışma ile, biberiye (Rosmarinus officinalis)yağının gökkuşağı alabalıklarında gelişim performansı, hematolojik vebiyokimyasal parametreler üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Buamaçla, toplam 300 adet sağlıklı gökkuşağı alabalığı(10,14±0,06 g) her birgrupta 75 balık olacak şekilde dört gruba bölünmüş ve balıklar 60 gün süreyle,%0(kontrol) ve %0,025, 0,1 ve 0,05biberiye yağı ilave edilen yemlerle beslenmiştir. Araştırmamız sonucunda, yemebiberiye yağı ilavesinin gelişim ve yem alımı üzerinde olumlu etkisibulunmamıştır. İlave olarak, yeme biberiye yağı ilavesi total eritrosit sayısı,hemoglobin konsantrasyonu, glikoz, trigliserid, toplam protein ve keratininseviyelerinde bir değişikliğe sebep olmamıştır. Bununla birlikte, yemlerine %0,025ve %5 oranında biberiye yağı ilave edilen balıklarda beyaz kan hücresi (totallökosit) sayısı önemli derecede atmıştır (p<0,05). Ayrıca, kontrol grubuhariç bütün gruplarda kandaki Na+ve Cl- seviyeleri önemliölçüde düşmüştür (p<0,05).
