AB  - Sadeleştirdiğimiz bumetinler, Dâru’l-Fünûn müderrislerinden Bergama’lı Cevdet’in Mahfil dergisinde yayınlanmışmakalelerdir. İlk makalede Bergama’lı Cevdet, Kur'ân-ı Kerîm’in Hz. Ebûbekirdöneminde bir kitap hâlinde toplanmasının tarihini, olaylar ışığındaözetlemektedir. İkinci makalede de, tefsîrde Arap şiiri ile istişhâd olayınıncevâzna dâir Abdullah b. Abbas’tan rivayetler nakletmektedir. Böylelikle Arapşiirinden deliller getirilerek, âyetlerin anlaşılmasının kolaylaştırılmasınadâir örneklerin sahâbe dönemine kadar uzandığını görmekteyiz.

N2  - These texts we translated are the articles written by Cevdet of Bergama, one of the Daru’l-Funun professors and published in the journal of Mahfil. In the first article, he summarizes the story of collection of the Holy Quran in the form of book during the reign of Abu Bakir, in the light of events. In the second one, he narrates some reports from Abdullah b. Abbas about the permission of using Arab poem in the exegesis of Quran. Thus, we consider cases on using Arab poem in order to make verses more understandable, since the period of companions.
