N2  - This paper analyzes wishes of pre-school children 5-6 age group. Thepaper uses phenomenology design, which is often used in qualitative research.The study group of the research is comprised of 5-6 year-old children attendingpreschool education institutions. Non-random sampling method was used in orderto define the study group of the research. The participants are comprised of120 children attending preschool education in 10 schools in central district ofAgri province selected by suitable sampling technique among non-random samplingmethods. Besides, interview form developed by the researchers was used as adata collection tool. The results of the research showed that the wishes of thepreschool children differed by gender. The females usually made selfish wishes,while the males made altruistic wishes.
