As a results of welding tests, microstructure, hardness and wear properties of hardfacings wereinvestigated. With an increase in amounts of ferroniobium andferroboron in welding powders, both percentage of boride structurelocated in hardfacing microstructure were increased, and thehardness increased. Therefore, the wear losses decreased. Thehighest hardness result was determined with the hardfacingobtained from the welding powder containing %12 ferroniobiumand %10 ferroboron as 48 HRC, the lowest hardness result wasdetermined with the hardfacing obtained from the welding powdercontaining %3 ferroniobium and %2,5 ferroboron as 41 HRC CR - [6] Kanjilal P., Pal T.K., Majumdar S.K.
