The slavery found in most of the communities located within the deadline and it has appeared in the Ottoman Empire. In the Ottoman society, everybody who was economically powerful bought slaves and employed them in various jobs. In this study, focused on state and freeing of the slave one of three major accidents in the Ottoman capital, in Galata, the status of the slave of exemplary in the Ottoman Empire. In this research, was evaluated in purchase and sale, nation and freedoms, the relationship between master of slaves and concubines in according subject to case records to the court records.
