The success and sustainability of an organization is measured by performance evaluation. Performance evaluation focuses on making the basic strategic decisions of the organization more economic and rational. Balanced Scorecard is a performance evaluation method which explains the correlation between the organization’s short/long term objectives and financial/unfinancial performance indicators in a cause and effect relationship and reflects the results to the corporate strategy in a balanced manner. In this context, in the first part of the study the concept of performance and performance evaluation are elaborated, then in the second part Balanced Scorecard Method is analyzed.
