N2  - Objective: This study was aimed to analyze the nursing research about multiple myeloma in the literature published between 2004- 2015. Method: Literature search conducted in June 2015, researchers searched the keywords of “multiple myeloma, haematology, multiple myeloma and symptom control, multiple myeloma and nursing” in Turkish and English on the international (“PubMed”, “CINAHL”, “Scopus”, “Elsevier”, “Science Direct”, “Embase”, “Ovid”, “ProQuest”, “Ebscohost” and “Blackwell-Synergy”) and national (Turkish Medical Index - ULAKBİM, Council of Higher Education - Thesis Center) databases.Results: As a result of the literature search, it was determined that there were twenty eight nursing publications (7 articles, 20 reviews and 1 unpublished thesis). When the themes of these articles were analiysed, it was determined that 75% (n=21) of them was “multiple myeloma signs, treatment protocols, treatment toxicities, symptom control and nurses’ roles” and 25% (n=7) 125 was survival of multiple myeloma and the quality of life”. Conclusion: As a result of this study, it was determined that there was no enough articles about the multiple myeloma. Nurses should assess the patients comprehensively, and they should plan their cares in a holistic approach.
