AB  - Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul ve lisede okuyan öğrencilerin görüşlerine göre nasıl bir beden eğitimi dersi işlemek istedikleri, derse katılımlarını etkileyen unsurlar ve onların gözüyle beden eğitimi ve spor (BES) öğretmeninin özelliklerinin neler olduğunu belirlemektir. Araştırmada veriler 2013- 2014 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde odak grup görüşmesi ve açık uçlu anketler yolu ile toplanmıştır.Bu kapsamda açık uçlu sorudan oluşan anket formu 196 ortaokul ve 202 lise öğrencisi tarafından doldurulmuştur. Çalışmada ayrıca odak grup görüşmeleri de yapılmış ve toplam 32 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilere göre araştırmaya katılan ortaokul ve lise öğrencileri BES dersinde oyun oynamak, serbest kalmak ve eğlenceli etkinlikler yapmak istediklerini; BES dersine katılımlarını “derste yapılan etkinliğin türü, öğretmenin tutumu, tesis ve malzeme durumu ve eğlenceli etkinlikler”in etkilediğini belirtmişlerdir. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre BES öğretmeni; atletik, eğlenceli, anlayışlı ve ilgili bir öğretmen olmalıdır.

N2  - The aim of this study was to determine the views of the secondary and high school students about what kind of PES class they want to have, characteristics of physical education and sport teachers and the expectations of them. The participants of the study were secondary and high school students in the spring semester of 2013-2014 academic year in the central district of Bolu. Data was collected through focus group interviews and a questionnaire. An open-ended questionnaire consisted of three open-ended questions was filled by 196 secondary and 202 high school students and 32 students took part in focus groups interviews. The results were stated that the students wanted to play games, be free during the course, do enjoyable activities and learn different sports in PES classes. They also stated that their participation in PES classes influenced by "the type of activities, the teacher's attitude, facility and equipment status and fun events". According to the students’ opinion a PES teacher should be athletic, full of fun, understanding and caring.
