Despite the sea barrier, the presence of this species in Gökçeada is a very clear evidence of the expansion of the invasive species by anthropogenic effects. Morphometric measurements of this invasive species, which is easy to adapt to the inland waters and spread rapidly, was made and it was reported that this species firstly existed in Aegean islands.

}, number={4}, publisher={Ege Üniversitesi}
