Suleyman ibn Kamal Pasha, known also as Kamal Pasha Zadeh (873-940 h/ 1468-1533) aimed in his treatise named “Risala fî Tahkîk Ta’rîb al-Kalima al-A’camiyyâ (OnVerification of the Arabicization of Foreign Words)” to explain origins of some Arabic words.One fifth of these words consist of the words of Quran. The treatise by these aspects become relatedwith the Qur’anic sciences. The work provides an important contribution to the debate on theexistence of non-Arabic words in the Quran.
