The material of this case was anadult mixed breed neutered bitch brought to our clinic complaint with a masshanging from the vulva. In the history, it was learnt that bitch had beenneutered before, and there had been a mass hanging from the vulva since lasttwo months. The condition of the bitch was determined to be good in thephysical examination. In the vaginal examination, stalked, pinkish a hard masshanging from the vulva was detected. It was determined that the mass was originatedfrom dorsal vaginal wall of the bitch. It was decided to remove with operationby diagnosing as a tumoral structure. Macroscopically 5.6x3.2x1.7 cm indiameter, 43 gr in weight, pinky-white in colour, elastic in consistence masswas observed. Microscopically hyperchoromatic nucleus, crossed each other, anaplastic, round-shaped spindle cells include multinucleated giant cells, necrosis and mitotic figures were noted in places. According to macroscopic andmicroscopic features, the tumor was diagnosed as leiomyosarcoma. Consequently, because both the vaginal leiomyosarcoma rarely seen in the dog and occurencedin sterilized dog, macroscopic and histopathologic findings of the case wereconsidered to be able to contribute to the literature.
