In this study,it was aimed to investigate of some heavy metals (Cr and Ni) concentration insediment in the Albanian part of Lake Ohrid and to compare the three samplingpoints in the aspect of metal accumulation. Three different stations werechosen as sampling points: entry of Pogradec town, former factory of ferronickel and Lin village. Samples were taken in autumn 2014 and were analyzedusing Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The average concentrations of theseelements were determined. In all stations there were accumulation of Cr and Niin sediment and the highest values of two metals (Cr 78.3 ±   26.7mg/kg, Ni 109.9 ± 26.6 mg/kg) were observed in former factory of ferro nickelpoint. With this study we came to conclusion that in this lake has the heavymetal pollution based on the accumulation of metals in sediment and the part oflake where was factory of ferro nickel was the most polluted point.
