The present study numerically explores combustion of hydrogen and its shows the contribution of hydrogen to engine performance and emissions effect for diesel engines. The used model in the numerical study was determined according to experimental data. In the study, the different ratios of hydrogen have used in diesel engines and the obtained results have been presented. The different ratios of hydrogen are % 2, % 4 and % 6, and its are added to pure diesel. Transient numerical simulations are performed using the AVL-FIRE commercial software. The simulations results are separately obtained and presented. According to the results, engine performans improved depending on the amount of hydrogen.
