N2  - Mw = 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Van on 23rd October 2011, 48666 buildings demolished/heavily damaged, 604 people died and 1301 people were injured. During this earthquake severe damages were noted on structures were designed according to the old and also current regulations published in 2007. A building designed according to current regulations, which had heavily damages during this earthquake, has been examined in the literature according to design project, states of practice and reasons of damage. This damaged building had strengthened by the owners. In this study, while undamaged, damaged and strengthened of this building, which has high information level, has been determined by analytical calculations. Thus, the modal analysis results of the structure before and after the earthquake, and after strengthened were compared and the changes in the dynamic properties were presented by presenting the first three periods obtained from the analytical examination
