Telhîs began to be used as an official document since the second half of the 16th century on the sultan to not attend the Council meeting. Telhîsat usually is written using the language of the palace because it is an official document. But the language of Ragıp Pasha’s telhîsat is analyzed in this article is a artful language. The reason for this is that Ragıb Pasha is a good writer and poet.  Although the official documents these telhîsat are bearing literary works feature and these telhîsat are important documentation that is contain information on the private life of I. Mahmud (d.1754). Some information about palace traditions, such as reminder of the importants days and notification of preparation go for a ride and the fulfillment of medical procedures applied with the arrival of spring and moving the sultan’s summer palace are also located in these telhîsat. <br /> </p>}, number={59}, publisher={Atatürk Üniversitesi}
