However, some courses and contents in particularhave been included in all of the programs because of their specific features that need to be covered in all programs, are not influenced by time and needs, and support children’s basic development constantly and directly. Drama course is one of the courses in the undergraduate program of preschool education that supports children’s development directly and always keeps it currency. Today, while drama education is often provided by various professional courses, it is still one of the courses that teacher candidates consider important during their undergraduate studies in preschool teacher education at the faculty of education. In this research, the activities carried out in the drama course and their impacts on the areas of social intelligence are investigated through 114 preschool teacher candidates’ opinions. For this purpose, the social intelligence section of the multiple intelligences inventory is utilized in this research. Poor experimental design is adopted in this study and the data are obtained with pre-test and post-test.
