The trends were determinedto be in the categories of research topics, journal categories, number ofauthors, research designs, data collection methods, data analysis methods andsampling sizes. The keywords of “vocational school training, vocational schooleducation, vocational school students, vocational student faculty members” (thekeywords were used in Turkish) were used in Google Scholar in order to retrievethe research papers that were published in Turkey between 2000 and 2016. Thesearch results were evaluated to find out the research that mainly focused ontraining in vocational school, vocational school students and faculty members.The resulting 238 research papers were evaluated using content analysismethodology. The study identified that 2015 was the year that had the highestnumber of research in these topics. Also journals specialized in vocationalschool topics had the most number of research in these topics. Research paperswith two authors were preferred. Most commonly used research topics focused invocational school students. Quantitative research design was most commonlyused. The sampling size of 101-200 interval had the highest frequency. Thequantitative methods of frequency, percentage and average were most commonlyused among the research papers. The findings of this research is believed to beuseful for the future work in the research areas for vocational schools.
