N2  - (Muamele-i Seriyye in Treatises Written by Ottoman Accountants: Problems about “Murabaha”) This study aims to investigate calculations about muamele-i seriyye accounts in mathematics manuscripts, during the traditional period of Ottomans. Also, we analize how the solution techniques were handled by accountants in these treatises. Findings indicate that problems about muamele-i seriyye have been treated in seven books from the 15th century to the 17th century, without interruption. Thus, accountants mention different types of problems in their treatises. Although, expression of the problems are similar to the one in the fetwa texts, it is possible to say that the mathematical process comply with current interest calculations
