N2  -  TS 500 and TS 708 standarts are deal with the required properties of reinforced concrete steel bars. Statistical analysis have been carried out of the results of steel tensile test specimens taken by from constructions built in Eskişehir region in 2003 according to TS 708. The yield strength, rupture strength and total elongation ratios were determined by the tension test made on the steel tensile test bars in accordance with TS 138. It is observed that a great improvement on the yield strength and tensile strength of deformed steel bars (IIIa) compared with the steel bars produced previous decade.
