N2  - On April 13, 1979,Ibrahim Hakki Konyali Library and Archive were opened for service in the UskudarBuyuk Selimiye Mosque Selim the Third Hünkar Pavilion under the management of SecondRegional Directorate of Istanbul Foundations. The libraray is aninstitutionalized biography of Konyali, who has dedicated his life to scienceand his science to the foundation. One important feature of the Konyalı libraryis that it is a foundation library formed by the influence of Madrasah. Withthe library opened in his name, Konyalı has made it possible for many documentsand artifacts to be preserved under its roof, which were obtained as a resultof a century-long struggle against history plunderers throughout his life. Hedid not only become experts in the documents he collected, but also in researchand study method. His research is based on the education system of theinstitutions that shaped his scientific life. Konyalı has used his talent in Arabiclanguage, knowledge and experience he received at Islahi Medarisi IslamiyyeMadrasah for the benefit of foundation. The two important institutions (Madrasah and foundations) that built theOttoman and Islamic civilizations were brought together under his researchmethod and then under the roof of the library where he conducted his research. His heritage, Konyalı Library, is a scientific institutionwhich sustains the inheritance of Konyali and Madrasah under the foundation.This work will introduce the ideological foundations of works of Konyalı, andhis research method using the sources in the archive section where hiseducational and scientific works are preserved.
