AB  - Su ürünleriyetiştiriciliği gıda üreten önemli bir sektör olup gıda güvencesi, ekonomik büyümeve istihdama önemi katkıda bulunmaktadır. Su ürünleri sektörünün iklimdeğişikliğinden etkilenmesi kaçınılmazdır. Bu nedenle gerekli uyum vehafifletme politika ve stratejilerin geliştirilmesi sektörün geleceği açısındanhayatı önem taşımaktadır. Sektör paydaşlarının iklim değişikliği veyetiştiricilik sektörü üzerindeki olası etkilerine yönelik algısının bilinmesi;farkındalığın geliştirilmesi, gerekli adaptasyon ve hafifletme politika vearaçlarının geliştirilmesi için öncelikle ele alınması temel konuların başındagelmektedir. Bu ön çalışma; Ülkemizde sektör paydaşlarının iklim değişikliği vesu ürünleri yetiştiriciliği ile olası etkileşimlerine yönelik genel algılarınıbelirlenmek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Eldeedilen bulgular paydaşların genel olarak iklim değişikliği ve yetiştiriciliküzerindeki potansiyel etkileri konusunda bilinçli olduklarını ancak bunu sektöraçısından temel bir sorun ve öncelik olarak algılamadıklarını göstermektedir.

N2  - Aquaculture sector is a significant food producingsector contributing to food security, economic growth and employment. Climatechange-aquaculture interaction is inevitable and attempts to develop necessaryadaptation and mitigation policy and strategies are crucial for future of thesector. Assessing the perception of stakeholders regarding climate change andits possible impacts on aquaculture at sectoral followed by awareness buildingare fundamental issues which need to be addressed before formulatingappropriate adaptation and mitigation policies and tools. This preliminary surveywas conducted to assess the general perception of Turkish stakeholders towardsclimate change and its envisaged interactions with aquaculture at sectorallevel. Results reveal that in general stakeholders are aware of climate changeand its potential impacts on aquaculture but do not perceive it as a major priorityor challenge for the sector.
