The quality of the education by then was directly relatedto the quality of the relation between teacher and learner. In this study, itwas aimed to explore the quality of the relation between teachers and shahzadaswhom were expected to be assigned as the khalifas in later years. For this purpose,the relation between the children of Abbasid khalifas Harununreshid, Emin andMe’mun, and their teacher Ali b. Hamza el-Kisai; the relation between thechildren of Khalifa el-Me’mun and their teacher Ebu Zekeriya Yahya b. Ziyadel-Ferra;  and the relation between thechildren of Khalifa el-Mütevekkil and their teacher Ebu Yusuf Yakub b.Es-Sıkkît was examined.
