In this article, I will look at those <br />changes, which occurred immediately following the Revolution of 1952. <br />Political pafiicipation among the Egyptian rural population increased <br />significantly in the years following the July 26, 1952 Revolurion led by <br />Gamal Abdel Nasser, and political participation has become a key factor in <br />Egyptian politics. There are several reasons for the growing interest in <br />politics in Egypt, including changes in government institutions for <br />participation, growing feelings of nationalism, significant educational <br />reforms, and communications improvements.
