Araştırmanınçalışma grubunu 19-66 yaş aralığında (=34.74,Ss= 8.94) olan evli 135 (%66.83) kadınve 67 (%33.17) erkek olmak üzere 202 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veritoplama aracı olarak Aile Değerlendirme Ölçeği (Bulut, 1990) ve Evlilik YaşamıÖlçeği (Tezer, 1996) kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde Pearson Momentler ÇarpımıKorelasyonu ve Çoklu Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda,evlilik doyumu ile aile işlevselliği ve alt boyutları arasında anlamlı birilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca yapılan analizler sonucunda evlilik doyumunun%42’sinin aile işlevselliği alt boyutları tarafından açıklandığı söylenebilir.Evlilik doyumunu yordayan boyutlar önem sırasıyla roller, iletişim, duygusaltepki verebilme, gereken ilgiyi gösterme, problem çözme ve davranış kontrolüşeklindedir.
