AB  - İkinci Dünya’nın haritadansilinmesi, dünya düzenindeki ikiliğinartmasına yol açtı ve dünyanın eksenini Kuzey-Güney ayrımına doğru kaydırdı. Buayrım, Doğu-Batı ayrımına benzer şekilde, özselleştirilmiş hayaller vekarakteristikler ortaya çıkararak yerel tarihlerin çeşitliliğini homojenleştirmeyeeğilim gösterdi. İkinci Dünya’dan arta kalanların Kuzey’e ya da Güney’e doğukayması, geçmişte bu dünyanın bir parçası olan tüm unsurlar için kaçınılmazhale geldi. Ancak bu bağlam, söz konusu unsurları belirsiz, hatta olumsuz birnesnellikle karşı karşıya bıraktı. Bu makale, eski sosyalist dünyanın ve budünyanın kolonyal ötekilerinin küresel Kuzey-Güney ayrımındaki rolünü veişlevini, kolonyal ve emperyal farklılık konseptleri aracılığıylasorunsallaştırmayı amaçlıyor. Makale, Kafkasya’yı yoksul Kuzey’in güneyindekien uç örnek olarak değerlendiriyor ve bölge insanlarının öznelliği için yıkıcıolan ikincil “Avustralizm” sendromunu analiz ediyor. Avrupalı olmayanRusya’ya/Sovyetlere ait eski kolonilerdeki oluşun, hissedişin ve düşünüşünolası dekolonizasyon yöntemleri üzerinde duruyor.

N2  - The erasing of the Second World has resulted in the increased binarityof the world order and changing of its axis to the North-Southdivide. Similarly to the West-East partition it tends to homogenizevarious local histories into imagined essentialized sets of characteristics.Drifting of bits and pieces of the Second World in the directionof either the North or the South has become unavoidable for all itsformer subjects, yet leaves them with an uncertain, almost negativesubjectivity. The article problematizes the role and function of the ex-Socialist world and its colonial others within the global North-Southdivide and through the concepts of colonial and imperial differences.It considers Caucasus as t he utmost case of t he South of the poorNorth and analyses secondary “Australism” syndrome which is devastatingfor the subjectivity of its people. Finally, it dwells on the possiblew ays o f d ecolonizing o f b eing, s ensing a nd t hinking i n t henon-European Russian/Soviet ex-colonies.
