Leadership type plays an important role in achieving organizational goals and objectives and in the efficiency of employees’ operations. Organizational commitment is the expression of employees' loyalties. Organizational commitment increases product and service quality. In this context, the purpose of the research is to examine the effect of leadership style on the organizational commitment of employees. The findings reveal that there is a significant relationship between the leadership styles and all the three sub-dimensions, affective, normative and continuance commitments of organizational commitment as defined by Allen and Meyer.
