paraganglioma is a very rare neoplasm, until now a few cases have been
reported. While some of these cases were asymptomatic, some were admitted to
the hospital with abdominal pain. A 79-year-old female patient with right upper
quadrant pain was referred to our clinic for acute cholecystitis. Radiologic
imaging revealed a mass lesion in the gallbladder. Cholesystectomy operation
was performed. Pathologic diagnosis was reported as paraganglioma of the
