N2  - Objectives: The primary purpose of the study is to investigatethe level of quality of work life of physical education teachers. In additionthe study aims to determine whether quality of work life of participants varyaccording to variables such as gender, educational level of the institutionwhich the participant works, professional seniority level and their willingnessto change profession. Material and Methods: Participants of the study consisted of 32 women and60 men with total of 92 physical education teachers who volunteered for thestudy. Quality of work life of the participants is measured by “Quality of WorkLife Scale” developed by McDonald (2001) and adapted in Turkey by AkınKösterelioğlu (2011). Additionally a “Personal Information Form” is utilized inorder to collect data related to the demographic information of the sample andindependent variables of the study. T-test and one way ANOVA test are utilizedfor data whose normal distribution and Mann Withney U and Kruskal Wallis H testare utilized for data whose not normal distribution. Results: Findings indicate that the differences according tovariables such as gender, worked institution’s educational level andprofessional seniority year are not significant in total and sub-factor score.According to their willingness to change profession variable, work satisfactionfactor’s score of physical education teachers not requesting to changeprofession is high compared with who are and being unstable. It is also foundthat the differences according to the same variable are not significant intotal and other sub-factor score. Conclusion: The result of the study indicates that quality ofwork life of participants is in medium level. They are found in good prettywith colleagues associations but to be dissatisfied with their wages andadditional income.
