In our research was used Survey model. The sample of the research consists of 60 students from three different classes who read in the 7th grade of a public school in Sivas province center. At the beginning of the research, a creative writing study was carried out by the students and the data obtained from this study were scored with the help of rubrik developed by Öztürk (2007). Mean and standard deviation values of the data obtained from this study were examined after the homogeneous distribution of the groups was checked. In addition, the data were analyzed by independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance and tukey test. As a result, students’ creative writing skills did not change according to their gender, but they differed according to interest in science fiction films and interest in scientific-technological journals and newspapers. </span> </p> <p> </p>}, number={2}
