It is very important to perform these responsibilities minutely by particularly university students as trained and conscious individuals in terms of next generations. Humans has been tended to review of their relationship with environment and their attitudes and behaviors toward it, to redefine environmentally conscious and ecological culture since environmental problems become global and a point that threatens life on the planet. Especially in recent years it has been started to re-scrutinize the relationship between learning and teaching with environmental sensitivity, to reexamine whether teachers, schools and syllabus accordance with raising individuals who have high environmental sensitivity and eco-conscious, or not. It is a known fact that training activities are important for approaches on the stable solution of environmental problems. Environmental education should be discussed very seriously and carried out in order to develop environmentally conscious and sensitivity which have a great importance in terms of the rights and duties of all individuals. The aim of this study is determining the environmental knowledge and behavior of university students and modeling it by via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which has started to be used quite often and has a great importance for statistical science in recent. SEM exhibits the causal relationship between the measured variables and quantified ones. SEM has more powerful alternative techniques than several analysis such as multiple regression analysis, path analysis, factor analysis, time series analysis and covariance analysis. For this purpose an analysis has been carried out by compiling 1680 survey data which obtained properly by means of face to face interviews with students from different faculty and departments of Afyon Kocatepe University UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/iaaojf/issue//356052 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/article-file/367780 ER -
