It was also aimed to determine the predictive power of perceived coach behavior as the perceived motivational climate subscale scored. The study sample was 78 male soccer players ages between 16-35 (X age==23.85; SS=4.39). Leadership for Sport Scale-LSS and Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire-PMCSQ were used for collecting data. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis techniques were used. The results of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis showed negative relationships between mastery oriented motivational climate created by coach and training and instruction behavior (r =-.240, p< .01) and also social support behavior (r = - .246, p< .01). Also, according to results of regression analysis, it was found that the single and most important predictor of mastery-oriented motivational climate is traning-instruction behavior. This result indicated that, although the athletes express that their coaches emphasized the importance of education and social support, they perceived that their coaches did not create mastery oriented motivational climate when they performed this behavior UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/cbubesbd/issue//357822 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/article-file/370602 ER -
