Dermatofitozise neden olan etkenler Microsporum,Trichophyton ve Epidermophyton cinsinde bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada,2013-2017 yılları arasında ve farklı mevsimlerde kedi ve köpeklerden alınarak MehmetAkif Ersoy Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Mikrobiyoloji Laboratuvarı’na dermatofitozisşüpheli olarak gönderilen toplam 102 deri kazıntısı ve kıl örneği incelendi. Örneklerinmikolojik analizi direkt mikroskopi ve Sabouraud Dekstroz Agara ekim yöntemleriile yapıldı. Toplam 102 örneğin 56 (%54.90)’sı dermatofitozis yönünden pozitifbulundu. Kedilerden alınan 24 materyalin 5 (%20.83)’inden Microsporum sp., 3 (%12.5)’ünden ise Trichophyton sp.izole edildi. Köpek orijinli 78 materyalde 47 (%60.25) Microsporum sp. ve 1 (%1.28) Trichophyton sp. teşhis edildi. Kedi ve köpeklerde dermatofitozisolgularına çoğunlukla ilkbaharda % 82.75 oranında olmak üzere sonbahar (% 64.28)ve yaz (% 38.88) mevsimlerinde de rastlandı. The causative agents ofdermatophytosis are Microsporum, Trichophyton and Epidermophyton species. In this study, atotal of 102 skin scarpings and hair samples taken from cats and dogs withdermatophytosis suspicion between 2013 and 2017 and at different seasons were investigatedat Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine MicrobiologyLaboratory. The mycological analyses were conducted by direct microscopy andfungal culture on Sabouraud Dextose Agar. Fifty six out of 102 samples werepositive for dermatophytosis. Five (24.83%) Microsporum sp. and 3 (12.50 %) Trichophyton sp. were isolated from 24 materials taken from the cats. Fourty seven(60.25%) Microsporum sp. and 1 (1.28%) Trichophyton sp. werediagnosed from 78 dog based materials.
