N2  - The cultural landscapes could be defined as a geographically definable area that acquires significance over time by virtue of interrelationship between culture and the natural environment, and which may be described by its natural, cultural, visual, meaning attributes.  Cultural landscape areas which have a lot of diversity on Earth, mirrors of humans social development, creativity and spiritual riches. Also they form part of our common identity.  Cultural landscape reflects the social development, creativity and spiritual prosperity of human beings and forms the pieces of common identity. It must be evaluated to provide the diversity of relations between humans and environment as well as to keep the living cultures and its vanishing traces. It must also be registered to be inherited to the next generations. The transfer to next generations will be provided by recognizing the cultural landscape as much as it is searched, protecting it as much as it is recognized.  Aim of this study is to examine cultural landscapes in Niğde province according to criteria of the cultural landscape and originality values. Tyana Antik Kenti, Gümüşler Manastırı, Niğde Kalesi  Alaaddin Cami belong to different periods from Niğde Region were selected as a material. Cultural landscape values of this area were discussed. After the declaration of the republic, Niğde has become modern city with made culture, transportation and entertainment structure. It has been found that the fundamental of the city was created at that time.
