It was aimed to investigate the values in children's books prepared for this age group. In this research, content analysis model was used in qualitative research methods. 140 children's books, which were determined using random sampling and published between 2010 and 2014, were examined using the "Variables Checklist". The frequency analysis method was used to interpret the data obtained as a result of the content analysis. Children's books were evaluated that under three main headings on personal values, interpersonal values and social values. It was determined that the values of the personal characteristics were found to be the highest in the books examined and it was determined that the books had a total of 1672 value expressions. In personal value content; while the concepts such as learning, sincerity and self-criticism are given more space, the concepts of freedom, self-acceptance, diligence and kindness are given less space; in the contents of interpersonal value; while concepts such as harmony, cooperation and friendship are given more space, the concepts of love and respect are given less space; in social values content; while the concept of loving nature has been given more space, patriotism and peace have been given little space. Another result is that the books of the 9 years old group are more in the children's books examined.
