This study aims to demonstrate services and their role on performance especially provided by human resource departments to accounting departments in an institutionalized manufacturing firm. In this study, after the relationship between human resource management and accounting is explained, a qualitative research that was conducted with human resource managers and accounting managers, is utilized to determine their expectations from accounting department. The results show that the information flow from accounting information system to human resource department is not adequate; however, human resource department plays a role on successful operation of accounting information system.
