N2  - This research has been done to determine how the host or renter users of residences interact with furniture in different sized living room according to functionality and flexibility. It is believed that according to the living room size of different planned houses there are different quantities of furniture and these furniture will be arranged according to their functionality. A questionnare which was designed for this purpose and it was applied to 200 people. These people have either 2+1 and 17,97 m2or 3+1 and 23,5 m2 living rooms accommodated in the city centre of Düzce public houses. As a result, it has been determined that because of the similar quantity of furniture of the two types of living rooms, the arrangement of furniture become harder in 17,97 m2 living room size and the usage of furniture which has functional flexibility and the action of eating become more insufficient in this living room. The size of living room is an important factor for flexible usage
