In addition, the no-tillage increases N and C concentrations, microbialcarbon mass, and bacterial and fungal populations. It also reduces CO2and NO2 emissions and fuel consumption, and increases crop yieldover long periods. There are several factors that are effective in the successof this system. These factors include the type of no-till seeder, stubblecondition, sowing depth and time, crop rotation and the selection of thevarieties. When studies on this subject are examined, it can be said that thereis a need for more specific researches in order to spread the no-tillagerapidly throughout the country. For the foreseeable future, facilitatingnational development strategies for up-scaling of no tillage, conducting trainingcourse with national organizations remain a high priority to promote no tillagesystems. Our purpose in this research is to examine the scientificpublications and projects about no-tillage in Turkey and to discuss thedifficulties in the implementation phase of the method. It is also one of thegoals of trying to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Turkey forno-tillage and conventional tillage. CR - [1] D.Karayel. 2009.
