N2  - Thisanalysis aims to examine the current status and objectives of the athletictraining centers and Olympic preparatory centers in Turkey.  Athletic training centers and Olympic centersare seen as a hope to develop Turkey’s success in sports further. Currently, 36athletic training centers and 21 Olympic centers continue to train our athletesin different branches. It has been observed that a certain portion of theathletic training centers are near being closed, whereas some others are beingconsidered as good candidates to become future Olympic centers. It is thoughtthat the interest towards the athletic training centers are shifting towardsthe Olympic centers. Thus, promoting and transforming these athletic trainingcenters into Olympic centers could potentially benefit the ultimate goal offurthering Turkish sport. Although many regulations reforming from the planningstage to the stage of operation, including the objectives and procedures, ofthese centers have been issued, there are still prominent issues within thesystem. In order to address these issues, more support should be provided andprecautions should be taken by acting in accordance with the spirit, goal, andunderstanding of the centers.
