N2  - Purpose: It is aimed to investigate the factors affecting quality of life and time management of caregivers of individuals with autism. Material and Methods: Fifty-two caregivers of individuals with autism between age range of 3-17 years were evaluated in the study. Turkish version of World Health Organisation Quality of Life Brief Form (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) and Time Management Inventory was done to all caregivers. A semi-constructed interview sheet consisting of 20 questions was applied to caregivers to define sosciodemographic properties and daily living related factors that can affect quality of life and time management. ‘ Sensory Profile’ was done to state level of sensory processing of children. The relation of quality of life and time management of caregivers with sosciodemographic factors and sensory processing level of children was investigated. Results: The avarage score of WHOQOL-BREF-TR was 89.15±12.6 and Time Mangement Inventory was 84.5±12.2. These results showed caregivers had moderate quality of life and time management. Time spent for themselves, and specially sensory processing of children were related with quality of life (p<0.05). Education and economic level of the caregivers were related with time management (p<0.05). conclusion: Caregivers who play a great role in treatment should be recognized while assessing autistic child. As sosciodemographic characteristics, sensory profile of children and occupational balance of caregivers were found to be important in the life of caregivers, they are needed to be taken into consideration while doing assessment
