Materials and Methods: Two child diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa and Rod Cone Dystrophy treated in, Hacettepe University Department of Ergotherapy, Low Vision Rehabilitation Unit were participated. Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation Scale was applied to measure the social skills of individuals within the group, Social Anxiety Scale for Children was applied to measure their anxieties in social relations and Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory was applied to evaluate their peer relations and performance in peer relations. Social skills training and creative drama were performed with the cognitive process approach in the study. Intervention was applied once a week during 8 weeks and as an hour session including six individual and two groups. Results: In both cases, after occupational therapy intervention program, an increase in social competence and decline in the anger-aggression and anxiety-introversion levels were seen. conclusion: Individual-centered occupational therapy intervention in children with low vision increases the social competence of individuals while it decreases their levels of angeraggression and anxiety.
