N2  - Yurtseverliksosyal bilgiler öğretim alanı içinde yer alan bir vatandaşlık değeridir. Buaraştırma sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin yurtseverlik algılarını ortayaçıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Fenomenoloji deseninde gerçekleştirilen araştırmaya maksimumçeşitlik örneklemesi ile belirlenen 14 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni katılmıştır.Araştırma verileri yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmaverileri NVivo programında içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmasonuçlarına göre, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri yurtseverliği, sevgi, bağlılık,sorumluluk kavramlarıyla açıklamışlar ve kendilerini kör yurtseverliğe dahayakın görmüşlerdir. Öğretmenlerin etkin ve demokratik yurttaşlık eğitimi konusundabilinçlenmeleri ve yapıcı yurtsever olmalarına ilişkin eğitim almaları veuygulamalarını bu yönde geliştirmeleri sağlanabilir.
