N2  - This study aimed to determine happiness level of preschool children's according to variables such as gender, age, number of siblings and associations with temperament characteristics. Studying with 400 children who attended pre-school institutions, their teachers and mothers, happiness levels of children were compared. Results revealed that there were differences according to variables such as gender, age sibling number and temperament. Happiness level of boys was found to be higher. According to the teacher views and children's self-reports older children had higher levels of happiness. Children self-reports were showed that children with two sibling were happier whereas mothers and teachers views stated only child were happier. The present study found that children’ happiness were positively associated with warmth, persistence, and rhythmically dimension of temperament on the other hand negatively associated with reactivity based on the mothers and teachers views
